Yesterday I went to Central Station to pick up my new international student, Angela, whom I will mentor this semester. This will be my third semester as a mentor. I quite enjoy it. I mean hey - I get to know someone else from another country, I get to keep my English alive, AND practise my Spanish (in this particular case), I'm able to practise my skills as a host and really all of my hospitality is put to a test, AND I get "free" credits for doing it! How can I say no to that?? It doesn't hurt that Angela is a real sweetheart either. I'm really looking forward to getting to know her better! :)
