Floods

Feeling a little nervous right now with the floods in Queensland. Keep getting reports from J, whose friends are panicing on fb:

• " :( so many people dying already.. please be safe today"
• "we're going under! Maroochydore"
• "If I'm between two expected flood areas does that mean my house would be ok? How can you get sandbags without a car?! I can't believe this weather! It's destroyed our poor state :("
• "This is absolutely crazy! Cars are being swept away, people are dying, the dam is overflowing and is sending a wall of tsunami-like water towards the suburbs of Brisbane and the rest of QLD and northern NSW is completely destroyed??? Does anyone else feel like the world is ending? Looks like the rain has hit again, I hope all who live on flats street are okay and safe :S
